- 2023 AUDI S3
Hello everyone
I tried using the cruise control on my two-week old S3. Wow, what a mess! When engaged, the steering decides to have a mind of its own. At high speeds (over 60 mph), when the cruise control is engaged, the steering goes "limp". I must constantly manage the steering wheel as the car will wander with the slightest bump in the road. Additionally, the feel is like I am driving a 1960's GM power steering car. No feel whatsoever. There is no consistency to the feel or response to inputs. At lower speeds (say, 40 mph), the steering tightens up a bit but still has an inconsistent response to steering inputs.
This is not only distracting, but also scary and perhaps a safety hazard.
Has anyone else had this problem?
The earliest service appointment I can get at the dealership where I purchased the car is late July!!!!
Thanks
