What would you recommend doing to keep the exhaust tips clean, middle two are darker than the outer two and in my OCD state I can't stand that!

any products or suggestions?

I wipe mine off overtime I do the car. When I wax the car I wax the tips and they always look brand new. If you have some stubborn soot, try a mild cleaner-wax on them.

I have a dedicated sponge that I use to wash the tip every time I wash my car.

There is a metal polish called Autosol which shines the exhaust tips like new!

"Pledge" furniture spray and a plastic scourer gets the carbon off, then buff with a soft cloth. Perfect shiny quad pipes every time!!

I use Autoglym Engine and Machine Cleaner first to dislodge grease and grime. Then shampoo and rinse. Then Gtecniq tar remover. Then Peek metal polish which seems to outperform Autosol mentioned above. Nylon pan scouring the carbon build up on the tips with the Peek if bad but don't do the cylinders - just the carbonated edge of the tips. Then polish off with a clean (but not new) microfiber and seal with Poorboys wheel sealant. Bit of bother and I don't do this every time (obviously) but if you want to restore yours this regime works well.
